Anastasia Sabatié is a painter based in Geneva, primarily known for her contemporary landscape work. Her main focus is on black-and-white mountain scenes, created using mixed media on canvases of various sizes.

Project "Black and White. The Mountains"
This is her first solo project, born from a reflection on the world’s duality. It’s an attempt to convey balance through unity in opposites on canvas. By using only two colors, black and white, and working in shades of gray, she explores harmony between shadow and light on the canvas, reflecting the relationship between her own shadow and light. Her work captures the monumental essence of mountains, the timeless reality and truth, the strength and immortality of rock, the purity and fragility of snow, the irreversible transformation of ice, the pattern of cracks, and its interaction with the wind. Each canvas is uniquely characterized by the choice of graphics and texture.

Anastasia was born and raised in the USSR. Her creative background is versatile, covering design, decoration, floristry, and photography. After extensive travels and relocations, she settled in the Geneva area, where the mountain ranges of the Alps have become her primary creative interest and inspiration. The "Black and White" project is only three years old, and in that time, Anastasia has participated in exhibitions in Paris, Haute-Savoie, Milan, Rome, Vevey, Switzerland, and beyond.
